Meredith Hanson is a Nantucket based artist and designer. While trained in numerous fine art mediums, Meredith stumbled upon Gouache a couple of years ago and now it is her signature art form. She moved to Nantucket in the fall of 2011 to open up her design studio where she has collaborated with many of the local businesses on the island and beyond. The nostalgic charm of Nantucket with its luscious seascapes, beautiful hydrangeas and peaceful, simple way of life has given the inspiration for this illustrative scarf. When Meredith is not painting, you can find her strolling, coffee in hand, through Sconset taking in all the island’s beauty with her dog Willis.
