A selection of our favorite cheeses from small American Farms

Classic Blue Log is made in western Massachusetts by Bob Stetson and his wife at their dairy, Westfield Farm. This cheese has won many prizes in US cheese competitions. It is fine-grained in texture with a rich and tangy flavor. The exterior is covered in blue Glaucum mold, making these logs visually striking and imparting a very light blue flavor. 4 oz log.

Green Hill is a pasteurized cow’s milk, soft-ripened cheese made in Georgia with a buttery flavor and thin bloomy rind. Green Hill is an eight-time winner at the American Cheese Society Annual Conference. Serving suggestion: Drizzle a little honey over a slightly warm wheel and serve with a French baguette or arrange on a cheese board with jams, nuts, and crisp apples. 8 oz wheel.

Smokey Oregan Blue from Rogue Creamery. Playfully inspired by Smokey the Bear, this American original is cold-smoked for many hours over Oregon hazelnut shells. This process infuses the cheese with unique aromas of barrel-aged vanilla, bread pudding, and candied bacon. You’ll taste spicy-sweet flavors of honey, apple, and nectarine, plus a mild “blue” finish. 1/2 pound

Pleasant Ridge Reserve is an aged, alpine-style cheese made in Wisconsin.  Like the coveted, alpage versions of Beaufort and Gruyere, Pleasant Ridge is made only in the summer months, while our cows graze in a fresh pasture. The sweetness born from the grass-fed milk combines with the savory flavors developed by the cheese’s natural, washed rind. The resulting complexity – rich and salty, with a long, fruity finish – has made Pleasant Ridge one of the most distinctive and celebrated cheeses in the country. 1/2 pound block.
